A typical day at Hungry Minds Childcare
The day starts at 8am as the first children arrive. Breakfast is available from 8am- 8.30am, eating is a wonderfully social event at H.M.C. we all sit up together and enjoy good food, conversation and lessons on good table manners!
Once breakfast is finished we have song and story time before, at 9am, we embark on our first activity of the day. Each day there is something specifically planned for each child attending and we have a detailed curriculum that engages, interests and encourages the children's learning through activities they enjoy. This can be a trip to the park or the beach, activities in the garden, baking in the kitchen or creative learning. If we are not picnicking in the park we head home and have lunch at 11.30pm.
After lunch we chill out and let our lunch go down before nap time at 12pm until 2.30pm. We let the children free play in the playroom's or in the garden, before setting up lots of new exciting activities for the children to enjoy. At 4.30pm we all sit down for dinner and finally at 5pm we clear up and wait for mummies, daddies or carers to arrive by 6pm.
