Fees, funded places and school holidays
FEES For Hungry Minds Childcare - Full days only
Our fees are based on the number of days a week your child attends and calculated on a calendar month. The hours are 8am - 6pm (Early drop off or late pick up on request):
A deposit is taken to secure a place. To reduce the initial financial burden of starting in childcare we use the deposit to cover the first months fees.
FEES For Hungry Minds After School Club
After school care - £20.00 per day
FUNDED PLACES for children aged 3 to 4
All children become eligible for Early Years Free Entitlement from the term after their third birthday (some two year olds are eligible for the term after their second birthday).
A child who turns three (or 2 if eligible) between the following months will become eligible for funding from:
January & March
1st of April
April & August
1st of September
September & December
1st of January
At Hungry Minds Childcare children can access up to 570 hours a year up to a maximum of 15 hours per week, for 38 weeks a year (school term time). As we are open throughout the year we stretch our offer so parents can access 11 hours per week to ensure consistency of invoicing throughout the year.
Parents of 3 & 4 year olds who apply successfully through the Government website and obtain an authorisation code can access up to a further 570 hours a year. This gives a combined total of up to 22 hours per week available through the stretched offer.
Not withstanding, a maximum of 7.5 hours can be claimed on any one day when taking additional hours.
Fees for additional hours, meals, snacks and outings when receiving only Universal 15 hours (stretched to a maximum 11 hours per week at HMC):
For parents wanting just the EYFE then a stretched offer of 4.5 hours per day, 5 days a week can be taken across the year from 12pm to 4.30pm for those qualifying for the additional 15 hours. For those in receipt of only the Universal hours then a stretched offer of 4.5 hours per day, 5 days per fortnight can be taken from 12pm to 4.30pm. FUNDED PLACES for children aged 9 months to 36 months
For eligible families of children in the term past 9 months to 36 months there are up to a maximum of 1140 hours per year (30 hours x 38 weeks). These can be claimed through the Childcare Choices website, in the same way as additional funding for working families for 3 & 4 year olds above.
